A Christmas promise to our children.

Dear Avery and Trey,

I promise this Christmas will be different. I promise to spend more time with you and less time shopping. I promise to not stress over little details. I promise not to rearrange your decorations on the tree because there are too many in one area. I promise to plan ahead so we are not scrambling around at the last minute. I promise to stop volunteering for everything that comes along because it takes time away from you. I will accept that most nights are not so 'silent' and know that one day when they are I will miss them.

I love you both so much. Thank You for making this time of year so precious.
